She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Byers and Hilda Byers (Engler); her husband Howard Hechsel; her grandson Hunter Melander; and her brother Richard Byers.
She is survived by: her children, Dale Hechsel (Rhonda) of Isanti, Jean Nelson (Scott) of Anoka and Karen Melander (Chad) of Cambridge; her grandchildren, Nicole Nelson (James Mayer), Mitchell Nelson, Ashley Anderson (James) and Nichole Hechsel; her great grandchildren, Louis Mayer and Dylan Nejedly; and her brothers, Harris Byers of Westbrook, MN and Duane Byers of Westbrook, MN. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Long Lake Lutheran Church (3921 277th Ave NW, Isanti, MN 55040). A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
