He was predeceased by: his parents, Christian Brinkman and Hilda Brinkman (Melbo); his former wives, Dona Snodie and Roberta Robertson; his children, Linda and Walter Jr.; his stepson Ken; his granddaughter Summer; and his sisters, Dorothy, Genevieve and Shirley.
He is survived by: his wife Betty; his daughter Becky Diadoo (Gilbert) of Burnsville; his stepdaughter Jeanne Carlson (Greg) of Virginia; his grandchildren, Cindy Madsen, Steve Diadoo (Jennifer), Jill Charrier, Trina Saice (Mike) and Alisha Webster (Eric); and his sister Hilda Bermeister. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Aurora American Legion Post 117 (117 Main St S, Aurora, MN 55705).
