He was predeceased by: his parents, Donovan Thomas and Elsie Thomas (Laine); and his son Scott. He is survived by: his wife Norma Nieters; his daughter Debra Bradt (Randy) of Ely; his daughter-in-law Susan Thomas of Cook; and his grandsons, Erik Thomas (Raya Aspinwall) and Nathan Bradt (Isabelle Benson) of Zumbrota.
