He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert R Simpson and Lura Simpson (Houston); his son Doyle Graham; his granddaughter Brooke Ann Simpson; his sisters, Arlys Jensen and Lura Marie Metsa; and his brothers-in-law, John Metsa and Joseph Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Hope Simpson; his children, Loann Trygg, Brad Simpson (Connie), Lynn Polich (Steve) and Troy Simpson (Dawn); his grandchildren, Scott Trygg (Michelle), Tracy LaPatka (Greg), Josh Polich, Zachary Polich (Paige), Bo Simpson (Carissa), Brenna Simpson (John) and Brynn Simpson; his great grandchildren, Jasmine Trygg, Logan Luecken, Lexiss Trygg, Jalen Miskowitz and Teagan Simpson; and his siblings, Donald Simpson (Becky), Evan Simpson (Carol), Tarsia Nichols, Karen Bober (Al), Linda Miakke (Mike) and Marsha Brown. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
