She was predeceased by: her parents, Gust W. Peterson and Mary Peterson (Jiacik); her husband Leslie Arvila; her siblings, Delores Saatela, Blanche Jacobson and Leonard Peterson; her brothers-in-law, Melvin Jacobson and Everett Saatela; and her granddaughter Brooke Simpson.
She is survived by: her children, Dale Arvila (Karla) of Cook, Dawn Simpson (Troy) of Cook, Brad Arvila (Michelle) of Angora and Scott Arvila (Becky) of New London; her grandchildren, Bo Simpson (Carissa), Brenna Simpson, Samantha Arvila, Colton Arvila, Seth Arvila, Lauren Arvila, Brynn Simpson and Sophie Arvila; her great grandchild Teagan Simpson; and her siblings-in-law, Arvid Arvila (Greta) and Mary Arvila. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
