She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Carlson and Amanda Carlson (Scott); her husband John Jowaski; her siblings, Albert Carlson, Harvey Carlson and Ellen Chos; and her sons-in-law, Michael Thompson and Bill Herman.

She is survived by: her children, Katherine Jowaski, Karol Grzybowski (Jurek), Kenneth Jowaski (Bryn) and Kaye Herman. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to "Growing In Grace Building Fund" at Trinity Lutheran Church.
