He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert and Beulah; and his brothers, Dave and Don. He is survived by: his wife Sandi; his children, Jodi Smith (Jim), Chad Buchanan and Rae Anne Zupetz (Jim); his grandchildren, Natalie, McKenzie, Austin, Michael, Bo, Jack, Mitchell and Jacie; his great grandchild Charlotte; and his pet Ellie.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mlaker Funeral Home (27 1st St E, Cook, MN 55723). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials, if so desired, may be made to Essentia Health St. Mary's Hospice East Range or the Lake Vermilion Fire Brigade.
