It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leroy Walters (Comfrey, Minnesota), who passed away on August 15, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Tena Walters (Schafer) and Theodore Walters; his wife Marjorie Pauline Prechel; his stepmother Helen; his siblings, Marcella Dunlavey, Lawrence, Stanley and Dennis; and his half-siblings, Wyona Balek, Harold Schulte and Norman Schulte.
He is survived by: his children, Kim Anderson (Jon) of Ortonville, MN, Kathy Hillesheim (Cletus) of Sanborn, MN, Daniel Walters (Sheryl) of Granite Falls, MN and Dana Walters (Pat) of Coon Rapids, MN; his close friend Donna Hustad of Granite Falls, MN; and his brothers, Eugene Walters of Mapleton, MN and Bill Walters of Fort Worth, Texas. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.
