He is survived by: his uncles, Clarence Knudson, Syver Lien and Hans Lien; his daughters, Patricia Hesse (David) of Comfrey and Dr. Deborah Lien (Dale Norell) of Rochester; his grandchildren, Tammy Hesse of Comfrey, MN, Troy Hesse (Danielle) of Lakeville, MN, Todd Hesse (Sara) of Victoria, MN, Aaron Norell (Sara) of Maple Grove, MN and Ana Norell of Hastings, MN; his great grandchildren, Makenzie, Brenna, Aevaleen, Liahna, Henry and Theodore; and his nieces, Virgene Stauffer and Renelle Biggar.
