He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Wiese and Vineta Wiese (Hoffman); his son Douglas; his brother-in-law Orvis Sell; and his nephew Robert Wiese.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Becker; his children, Ramona Widmer (Jim) of New Ulm, Debra Manz (Burt) of Park Rapids and David Wiese (Nancy) of New Ulm; his grandchildren, Adam Manz (Maddison), Donald Manz, Shaina Widmer, Breanna Widmer, Jim Widmer Jr. (Michele) and Melanie Meinert (Jeremy Braun); his great grandchildren, Corbin, Jasmine, Hailey and Anden; and his siblings, Kenny Wiese (Mary) of Comfrey, Betty Jane Wiese of Comfrey and Rita Sell of Windom. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
