She was predeceased by: her parents, Morris Watrud and Harriet Watrud; and her sister Karen Watrud Mackey. She is survived by: her husband Vernon Hoium; her daughters, Betsy Hoium of Minneapolis and Deb Hoium Lindstrom (Chad) of Albuquerque, NM; her grandchildren, Claire and Eric Lindstrom; and her brother David Watrud (Cathy). She is also survived by 8 nieces and nephews.

Memorials preferred to Cottey College for the Nancy Watrud Hoium Scholarship, First Lutheran Church, or the Columbia Heights High School Alumni Scholarship Foundation.
