She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Connell Maxton; and her son Robert Craig Maxton. She is survived by: her children, Karen Anderson (Jim) and George Edward (Karen Marie); and her grandchildren, Aliesha, Nicholas Anderson, Mallory, Kylie and Alexandra Maxton.
