Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved James Wegman of Columbia Heights, Minnesota, who passed away at the age of 80, on April 17, 2023. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles and Stella; and his sister Kathy Kelling. He is survived by: his wife Debbie; his daughters, Hope Slattery (Nicholas) and Amy Soller (Christopher); his grandchildren, Watson, Crosby, Sullivan, Norah and Barrett; and his siblings, Barbara Sockolich (Robert), Paul (Trudy) and Elaine Scheidnes (Paul). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members and friends.

“We all have a "Jim Sized Hole" in our lives...and maybe the only way to fill part of it is to be a bit more like Jim. He was a kind, gentle, fun man who was always there for his family first and his friends second! He was so amazingly resourceful at solving problems that Debbie would say he could "McGyver" any problem. And he could!!! Our family knew his uncle and aunt for many years before we met Jim. Once we did, we all fell in love with him and he became part of our family!”
