He was predeceased by: his wife BertAnn "Snooky" Payne (Klinefelter); his parents, Roy Payne and Mary Payne (Fee); and his brothers, Ernie, Steve and Gary.

He is survived by: his sons, Brian Payne (Peggy), Brent Payne (Tara) and Scott Payne; his grandchildren, Kyle (Connor), Danielle LeBoeuf (Payden) and Tanner (Gabby); his great grandchildren, Eli and Maverick; and his siblings, Bonnie, Karen, Dixie and Raymond. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family & friends.
