He was predeceased by: his wife Yasie Namba; his parents, Seigfried Hamann and Clara Hamann; his siblings, Herman, Louise, Marie and Ruthie; his daughter Mary; and his daughter-in-law Kristine.

He is survived by: his children, Helen Kocon (Rick Kocon), Bill Hamann, Mike Hamann and Rick Hamann (Karen Hamann); and his grandchildren, John, Tony, Andy, Samantha, Jessica, Elaina, Felicia, Sophia, Tamra, Nathan, Aaron, Rosie, Daniel, Annie and Micah. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
