He was predeceased by: his wife Verna (Schroeder); his parents, Ernest and Margaret; his great grandchild Emma Nixon; his brother Donald; and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Corbin, Ina Corbin, Naomi Onsgard, Dale Onsgard and LuVerne Schroeder (Keith DesJardin).
He is survived by: his children, Darla Norgaard, Denise Gordon (John), Dan (Annette) and Darryl (Jill Rogholt); his grandchildren, Angie Nixon (Josh), Christopher, Nikki Frost (Alex), Mike (Melanie), Jeremy (Heidi), Jessica McDonough (Josh), Justin (Kristina) and Alexandra Guzman (Jonathan); his great grandchildren, Kallen, Zari, Kyra, Kollins, Nyla, Baby Nixon, Trusen, Ray, Sawyer, Jaxson, Max, Mason, Hayden, Taven, Anthony, Melani and Viktoria; his siblings, Dennis (Sally), Dianne Lanhart (Dick) and Darlene Rabedeaux (Jack); his siblings-in-law, Verdell Schroeder (Doris), Yvonne Roth (Tom) and Carol Alstad (Dave); and his son-in-law Jay Norgaard.
