He was predeceased by: his father Danny Jergenson; his aunt Shelby Morris (Jergenson); and his grandparents, Francis, Hazel Jergenson Gilbert and Gladys Rosenberg.
He is survived by: his husband Dennis; his daughter Sunny; his mother Gwen Hanvy (Jergenson); his stepfather Wes Hanvy; his brothers, Chad (Teresa) and Jarrid; his nephews, Jaeger, Dylan, Soren and Thor; and his niece Carly. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to a fund for David and Dennis's 5 year old daughter, Sunny Jergenson.
