He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert and Henrietta. He is survived by: his wife Sheryl Schulte Beck; his daughter Samantha (Peter); and his brother Bruce (Nance). He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.

“Such sad news! I met Daryl at CHHS when I was a senior and he was a sophomore in 1970-71. He sat near me in graphic arts class and we became friends right away because of our similar wits! I always called him son, "how's it going today son?" I've run into him ocassionally over the years and saw him at ICC Summer Jam with his red classic Ford in 2019. We joked around for quite a while and the last thing I said was "It was great seeing you again son!" A great time indeed! Rest In Peace Daryl!”
