It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Myrna F. Mellgren of Cologne, Minnesota, born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who passed away on August 28, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Clifford Gustafson and Eleanor Gustafson (Kunnari); her husband LeRoy J. Mellgren; her children, Heidi Schmidt (Glenn) of Belle Plaine, Matt Mellgren (Deborah) of Ft. Myers and Wanda Kane (Brian) of LeSueur; her grandchildren, Jennifer Nobilis (Gabriel), Stephanie Sailor, Emily Capaul (Clint), Melissa Capaul, Ashley Cauley (Curtis), Janelle Mellgren, Jasmine Houska and Selina Houska; and her great grandchildren, Cadence, Liam, Emilyn and Watson. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Memorials preferred to West Union Lutheran Church in Cologne.
