He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Bongard and Jean Bongard (Notermann); his sister Barb Bongard; his parents-in-law, Albert and Betty Tuma; and his sister-in-law Joan Erickson.
He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Cory Anderson of North Branch and Daved Anderson (Katie) of Lester Prairie; his grandchildren, Oliver Anderson, Grace Anderson, Max Petersen and Luke Petersen; his siblings, Kurt Bongard (Joanna) of Waconia, Gregg Bongard (Phyllis) of Faribault, Lois Hansel (Jim) of Chaska, Nancy Gomez (Al) of Chanhassen and Tracy Ketchem (Tim) of Victoria; and his siblings-in-law, Chuck Tuma (Nancy) of Carver, Mary Lindahl of Burnsville, Kathy Kennedy (Rick) of Detroit Lakes, Jim Tuma (Cathy) of Faribault, Sharon Kosher (Mike) of Northfield, Dave Tuma of Elgin, Margie Fritz (Bill) of Minneapolis and Denny Pease. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
