He is survived by: his spouse Kay Bennington; his children, Erling Wilkinson (Julia) of Alpharetta, Georgia, Chad Merdan (Sarah) of St. Joseph, Lisa Corrigan (Ross) of Clearwater, Valerie Zabloski (Rick) of St. Joseph, Adam Schroeder of Clearwater, Andrew Merdan of Rice, Mathew Kestner of St. Joseph and Paris Merdan (Randy Klein) of Collegeville; and his siblings, Chuck (Sandy) of Avon, Lillian Edelbrock of Sauk Rapids, Betty Lipinski of Hewitt, Marlene Thielman of Cold Spring, Lenny (Janet) of Albany, Nell Bechtold (Roger) of Richmond, Marita Schwinghammer (Don) of Collegeville and Imelda Allen (Don) of St. Cloud. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren.
