He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Filander; his children, Angie Ayd (Ben) of Nisswa, MN and Casey Fahey (Jessi) of Hinckley, MN; his siblings, Kevin Fahey (Lynda) of Gilbert, MN, Tim Fahey of Minneapolis, MN, Beth Fahey of Eagan, MN, Kathy White (Pat) of Gilbert, MN, Marianne Fahey of Burnsville, Carolyn Kedrowski (Craig) of Cloquet, MN and Colleen Reich (Jesse) of Jarrell, TX; and his grandchildren, Ashley Hirt of Bemidji, MN, Elizabeth Curb (Rylee) of Bemidji, MN, Jovi, Neela, Rowan Fahey of Hinckley, MN and Remy Fahey of Hudson, WI. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
