He is survived by: his wife Melanie Stai; his children, Cody, Alexandrea, Hailey, Mason and Raidyn Welte; his mother Joalyn Welte; his siblings, Tresa Papesh (Scott), Kyle Fawkes (Elizabeth), Kent Welte (Jenni) and Travis Welte (Danielle); his grandchildren, Kingsley Mertz and Daniel Welte; his father-in-law Steve Stai; and his siblings-in-law, Steve, Shawn Stai (Bobbie), Nicholas Stai (Andrea) and Andrea Matheny (Lance). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
