She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Salmela and Helen Salmela (Anderson); her husband Dennis Ortquist; her brother Roger Salmela (Salmela); her granddaughter Ria Beckman; and her great grandchildren, Austin Carlen and Nora Klima.
She is survived by: her children, Rene Ortquist, Robin Kelly (Tim), Rise Beckman (Ron), Rori Carlson (Doug), Ruthie Klima (Ron), Reid Ortquist (Cheryl), Rahn Ortquist (Pamela), Raquel Kirchoff (Chad) and Blake Mullen (Nick). She is also survived by 25 grandchildren, and 49 great grandchildren.
