He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Raisanen and Mildred Raisanen; and his siblings-in-law, Mervin Mattila, Mark Kotila and Sheryle Raisanen.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth of Cokato; his children, Riina Koski (Eric) of Cokato, Trisha Koski (William) of Dassel, Angela Meredith (Mark) of South Haven, Grant (Angela) of Dassel, Kristen Byman (Darren) of Silt, CO, Bryce (Brittany) of Cokato, Gregory (Courtney) of Cokato, Charlton of Cokato, Kambria of Cokato and Kyler (Erika) of Cokato; and his siblings, Randall, Joan Kotila, Mary Koivukangas (George), Kenneth (Pearl), Bruce (Patricia), Carolyn Mattila, Heidi Torola (Larry), Warren (Brita), Susan, Dwight, Laura Bekkala (Evan), Gretchen Plough (Mark), Kirsti Lang (Nick) and Philip. He is also survived by 56 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cokato Laestadian Lutheran Church (16144 20th St SW, Cokato, MN 55321). A prayer was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
