He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clifford Burkstrand and Eleanor Burkstrand (Johnson); his wife Nancy Wozniak; his children, Brent Burkstrand (Jennifer), Stacy Burkstrand and Pete Burkstrand (Kristi); and his grandchildren, Julia, Claire "Bearsie", Sophia "Sophers", Elayna "Schnookums", Lydia "Sunshine" (Orrin Grangroth), Grayson "Loodie", Braxton "Chumbly", Henry "Hank", Molly "Mol" and Jillian "Jilly Bear".
