It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlene Rosemary Johansson (Cokato, Minnesota), born in Eveleth, Minnesota, who passed away on May 15, 2020, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugo Johnson and Lillian Johnson (Palo); her brothers, Aaron, Calvin and Joseph; and her brothers-in-law, Harold Kangas, Ralph Ylitalo and Earl Griffin.
She is survived by: her husband Sven Johansson; her children, Dan Johansson (Gemvita) of Minneapolis, David Johansson (Genevieve) of Germantown, TN, Linnea Jackson (Robert) of Prior Lake, Sven-Erik Johansson (Marija) of Olathe, KS, Amy Viteri (Carlos) of Houston, TX and Jennifer Vazquez (Italo) of Minneapolis; her grandchildren, Lilliana (Briana LeBaron), Thomas, Hugo (Elise Johansson), Bodin Johansson of Olathe City, KS and Jayla (Jason Vazquez); and her siblings, Cynthia Griffin of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Priscilla Ylitalo of Brainerd, Charlotte Hillukka (Norman) of Menahga, Corrine Laho of Plymouth, Harriet Lehto (Edward) of Dassel, Steven Johnson (Denise) of Buffalo and James Johnson (Susan) of Mountain Iron. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
