He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Johnson and Gladys Johnson (German); his daughter Pam Jones; and his brother Dwayne. He is survived by: his wife Berdine; his sons, Rick Johnson (Diane) of Sacramento, CA, Mark Johnson (Becky) of St. Cloud, MN and Bryan Johnson (Sheri) of Dassel, MN; and his son-in-law Al Jones of Cokato, MN. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren.

“Arden was a great man who I've had the pleasure in knowing. We often talked about cars and airplanes. I remember him giving me a ride in his airplane and letting me take control of it. It was pretty great experience and one I may never get to encounter again. He would always smile when I shook his hand to greet him. He definitely will be missed.”
