She was predeceased by: her parents, Einar and Clara; her stepfather Nils Brenden (Ben); her children, Diane and Dale; and her siblings, Charlie, Norris, Joy, Ila and Joanne.

She is survived by: her children, Dick Dirks (LouAnn), Valoris Pommerenck (Gerald) and Eileen Whiteis; her daughter-in-law Linda Dirks (Dale); and her siblings, Ernie Brenden (Joanne), Nick Brenden (Diane), Nora Scherf and Milo Brenden (Jane). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren.
