Jewel Lee Ward Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 23, 2025, Jewel Lee Ward of Cohasset, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Selmer Asbjornsen and Bertha Asbjornsen; and her sisters, Janet Asbjornsen and Jean Sorenson (Asbjornsen). She is survived by: her husband John Ward Jr.; her sons, John Ward III (Heather) of Angora, MN and Kevin Ward (Melinda) of Reno, NV; her siblings, Judy Bourque of Los Angeles, CA and Jerry Asbjornsen of Phoenix, AZ; and her grandchildren, David, Emma, Charis, Abigail, Sadie and Elliana.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grand Rapids Alliance Church (600 17th St SE, Grand Rapids, MN 55744). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
