He was predeceased by: his parents, Adelbert Rupert and Elsie Rupert; his wife Dona; his children, Rose Damjanovich and Tom Aultman; and his siblings, Theodore Rupert, Kitty Peterson, Dolly Craig and Merle Roberts.
He is survived by: his children, Sally Seppala (Pete) of Boston, MA, Rita Skyberg (Harvey) of Bovey, MN, Betty Stupar (Rick Kostka) of Montrose, MN, Sheila Bergquist (Mike) of Princeton, MN, Donny Rupert (Lori) of Cohasset, MN, Rodney Aultman (Therese) of Cohasset, MN, Elmer Lee Rupert of Rice, MN and John Rupert of Cohasset, MN; and his siblings, Gladys Thompson (Wes) of Cohasset, MN, Mae "Honey" Hausman of Grand Rapids, MN, Irene Jamsa (Bernie) of Grand Rapids, MN and David Rupert of Cohasset, MN. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; and 7 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
