He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Cekalla; his children, John Belden (Yvonne), James Belden (Julie), Kathleen Schmidt and Donna Trettel; his grandsons, Sam Belden, Ben Belden, Chris Belden and Josh Belden (Maddie); and his great grandchildren, Isla, Arlo, Sunlyn and Paxton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
