He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvia Carlson (Heikkila) and Lawrence Carlson; his brother Leland Carlson; and his sister-in-law Freda Carlson. He is survived by: his wife Brenda (Johansen); his daughters, Alexa Deppeler (Paul) and Kelly Scheuer (John); his granddaughter Hazel Scheuer; his brothers, Gordy Carlson (Karen) and Keith Carlson; his siblings-in-law, Jill Carlson and Daniel Johansen (Laurel); and his nieces and nephews, Curt, Chris, Cory, Scott, Darrin Carlson, Jack Johansen, Sheri Sorenson and Grace Johansen.
