He is survived by: his wife Marlene Johnson; his children, Angel Cushma (John) of Atlanta, Todd Salo (Jodie) of Atlanta and Kyle Salo (Cindy) of Atlanta; the mother of his children Kathryn Cummings of Pensacola, FL; his son Adam Salo (Kimberly) of Cloquet; his grandchildren, Josh (Jessica), Jordan, Kirsten, Peyton, Zack, Cooper, Isabella and Estelle; his great grandchild Maddison; his brothers, Tom (Mary), Frank (Susan) and Jeff (Cindy); and his siblings-in-law, Bill Johnson (Kathy) of Duluth, Linda Kohtala (Jim) of Duluth and Julie Johnson of Duluth. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
