It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephanie G. Hammitt of Cloquet, Minnesota, who passed away on November 14, 2022, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Defoe and Priscilla Defoe (Roy); her son Jesse; her grandparents, Peter, Margaret DuFault, David and Christina Roy; her grandparents-in-law, Gerald, Helen Hammitt, George and Edna Oraskovich; and her brother-in-law Rick DeBolt.
She is survived by: her husband Brian Hammitt; her children, Matthew Hammitt (Annissa Peterson), Christopher Hammitt (Alyssa), Jonathon Hammitt (Tonya Kloos) and Annika Hammitt (Tanner Hicks); her grandchildren, Eli, Adeline, Becket, Kolbe and Cordelia; her sister Michelle LaFave (Robert); her parents-in-law, Roland and Barbara Hammitt; and her pet Brutus. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the scholarship in honor of Stephanie at FDLTCC Foundation (2101 14th Street Cloquet, Minnesota 55720).
