She was predeceased by: her father James Merrill; and her brother Gary "Teddy" Merrill. She is survived by: her mother Ailie Merrill (Laine); her son James "Jim" Merrill; her sister Jane Bakke; her granddaughters, DeRae Sample and Julia Merrill; her nieces, Erin Walloch (Bob) and Angie Tangen (Paul); her great-nephews, Cooper Walloch and Harrison Tangen; and her pets, Stella and Rosie.
