She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Suominen and Martha Suominen (Rosenberg); her husband Roy Maunu; her sisters, Lila Maunu and Elsie Soukkala; and her son-in-law Vince Vedder.
She is survived by: her children, Bill Maunu (Diane) of Esko, Julie Vedder of Duluth and Kathleen Holznagel (Lynn) of Cloquet. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and one great great granddaughter.
