He was predeceased by: his parents, Nancy Johanson and James Johanson; and his uncles, Mick Johanson and William Carlson. He is survived by: his significant other Brenda Houle of Cloquet; his sons, Lance Houle of Cloquet, Jacob Johanson of Cloquet and Cody Johanson of Ankeny, IA; his grandchildren, Quentin Houle, Blair Johanson, Kylee Houle, Evangeline Houle and Ashlyn Johanson; his siblings, Michael Johanson, Kelly Tucci (Mike) and Jamie Johanson of Alaska; and his aunts, Barbra Carlson (Bill) and Susan Benson (Huns).
