With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Laaksonen of Cloquet, Minnesota, who passed away on December 13, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Laaksonen and Erna Laaksonen (Morken); and his cousin Johnny Everson. He is survived by: his wife Gail Laaksonen; his children, Anne Laaksonen-Fineday and Matt Laaksonen; his grandchildren, Molly Fineday (Josephine Umpierre), Greenlee Fineday, Rehn, Ehvi and Olin Laaksonen; and his siblings, Ronald Laaksonen, Kareen Brissett and Rex Laaksonen (Mary).
In lieu of flowers, Rob's family appreciates memorial donations directed to the American Stroke Association.
