It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norman Lee Rubesh of Cloquet, Minnesota, born in Carlton, Minnesota, who passed away on January 8, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Rubesh and Bessie Rubesh; his brother Richard Rubesh; his parents-in-law, Judy and Clinton Hakamaki; and his former wife Nancy Brady.
He is survived by: his former wife Nancy Korby; his wife Cindy Hakamaki; his friends, Mike Korby and Greg Peters; his daughters, Ronda Lennartson (Jim) of Esko and Raquel Pank of Superior; his stepsons, Cory Winterquist of Cloquet and Kyle Winterquist (Danielle) of Cloquet; his grandchildren, Jessica, Bryan (Kara), Trent (Katie), Desirée, Mason and Jayden; his great grandchildren, Ethan, Aliyah, Adelaide, Jaxon and Ezralyn; his siblings, Robert Rubesh (Grace) of Hoyt Lakes, Vernie Rubesh (Joyce) of Cloquet and Darlene Rubesh of Duluth; and his siblings-in-law, Debbie Rubesh of Carlton, Jody Hakamaki of Stacey, Jeff Hakamaki (Jodi) of Bradenton, FL and Wendy Soderstrom (Stu) of Ramsey. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
