Mary J. Baxley Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary J. Baxley of Cloquet, Minnesota, who passed away on January 11, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Einar Nygren and Ruth Nygren (Olson); her former husband Ellsworth Selen; her husband John Baxley; her children, Glen and Tracy Baxley; and her sister-in-law Carol Nygren.
She is survived by: her daughters, Muriel Selen, Cheryl Koch and Denise Halbert; her son-in-law Bob Koch; her brothers, Richard Nygren (Patsy) and Einar Nygren; her grandchildren, Ben Koch and Hilary McCausland (Ryan); and her great grandchildren, Tanner, Maya, Carson, Jack and Emma.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Elim Lutheran Church of Blackhoof (2077 Co Rd 6, Barnum, MN 55707). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
