She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolph Maslowski and Regina Maslowski (Kaae); her former husband Chester Lake; her husband Gerald Hovis; her children, Karen Nelson, Sharon Beckman and Timothy Hovis; and her siblings, Violet Parks, Edward Maslowski, Josephine Bassett, Chester Maslowski and Victor Maslowski.
She is survived by: her sons, Chester Lake (Chi Nguyen), Howard Hovis, William Hovis (Debra Tollison Hovis) and Dexter Hovis (Lisa); and her sister-in-law Bernice Enlund. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 4 step grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 8 step great grandchildren.
