With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Katherine R. Axtell of Cloquet, Minnesota, born in Brookston, Minnesota, who passed away on October 7, 2021 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Pensak and Theresa Pensak (Hudacek); her husband Guy Axtell; her daughter Linda Axtell; her son-in-law Paul Wefelmeyer; and her boyfriend Herb Thiesen.
She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy Hendrickson, Connie Parks (Ron), Penny DeMenge (Terry) and Mary Lindholm (Mark); her brother Jim Pensak (Ethel); and her grandchildren, Angela, Candi, Pascha, Nathaniel, Guy, Heather, Chad, Alyse and Sierra. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
