It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John R. Sibik of Cloquet, Minnesota, born in Duluth, Minnesota, who passed away on June 29, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Sibik and Dorothy Sibik (Looby); his in-laws, Walter and Elsie Smith; his brother Gerald Sibik; and his siblings-in-law, Elroy Gauthier, Elsianne Townsend, Judy Sibik and Mary Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl J. Smith; his children, John Sibik (Lana), Melanie Morris (Mark) and Leah St (Brian); his brothers, Louis Sibik and James Sibik; and his grandchildren, August, Devin, Jenna, Ethan, Andrew and Logan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
