He was predeceased by: his parents, Clement Starkey and Clara Starkey (Schmitt); his wife Betty Starkey (Lightfoot); his daughter Sheri Lynn; his grandchildren, Tiffany Hall and Jeremy Starkey; his son-in-law Chris Slighter; and his grandson Ian Slighter.
He is survived by: his great grandchildren, Nicholas Hall and Haven Starkey; and his children, Terry Starkey (Ellen Gomoll), Kelly Starkey, Penny Burggraff (Keith), Tracy Eales (Mike) and Ronda Kroll (Bob). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
