He was predeceased by: his parents, Loren Hughes and Ellen Hughes (Kile); his wife Jessie; his children, Brenda Kacer and Adam; and his siblings, Margaret, Suzie, Dale, Jackie and Fran.
He is survived by: his children, Sharon Hughes (Wayne Laakso), George Hughes (Yvonne "Bonnie") and Gary Hughes; his siblings, David Hughes and Judy Stiner; and his grandchildren, Christine, Michelle, Matt, Amanda, Josh, Kelli, Pete, Nicole, Tim and Daneil. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
