He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Paulson and Ruth Paulson (Olson); his brother Ralph Paulson; and his pets, Missy and Lucky.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Paulson of Cloquet; his siblings, Shirley Grover (Dale) of Carlton and Dan Paulson of Rushford; his children, Cindy Timonen (Wayne) of Barnum, Allan Paulson (Kim) of Carlton, Rita Johnson (Kirk) of Carlton and Dennis Paulson (Sue) of Maple Grove; his grandchildren, Sean Timonen (Kelly), David Timonen, Amanda Timonen (Adam), Tiffany Paulson (Matt), Christina Lebrasseur, Dane Johnson (Megan), Dwyre Johnson (Rakel) and Alexa Paulson; and his great grandchildren, Elias, Natalie Timonen, Nora Timonen, Hartley Lebrasseur, Roselyn Peterson, Stella and Callum Johnson.
Memorials are preferred to Elim Lutheran Church.
