It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances M. Hackensmith of Cloquet, Minnesota, born in Duluth, Minnesota, who passed away on September 28, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Dale and Leona Dale (Koback); her stepfather Alvin Grohek; her siblings, Les Dale, Julie Alquist, Linda Roxas and Lola Dale; and her stepson Brent Hackensmith.
She is survived by: her husband Fredrick; her children, Russell Tow, Tim Tow (Melissa) and Sue Burggraff (Pat); and her stepdaughters, Bonnie Widell and Belynda Kort. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, and nephews.
