He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Risdon and June Risdon (Parsons); his son Eugene B. Risdon; his brother Dr. Michael Risdon; and his sister-in-law Jo Risdon.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann Johnson; his sister-in-law Ardyce Thurston (Arthur); his children, Irene Angell (Brad), David Risdon (Brenda) and Thomas Risdon (Brenda); his daughter-in-law Cindy Risdon; and his grandchildren, Kary Ley (Mickey), Annette Levesque (Dave), Lee Risdon (Jessica), Jayson (Andrea), JayLene Rimolde, Kelvin (Beth), Trever, Derryk, Pierce (Eden) and Quintin Risdon. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and other extended relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Nelson Funeral Care (1004 Cloquet Ave, Cloquet, MN 55720). A memorial service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
