We are sad to announce that on April 9, 2024, at the age of 92, Elmer W. Splett of Cloquet, Minnesota, born in Racine, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Splett and Bertha Splett (Schenk); his stepmother Hattie Reylek; and his brother Leonard Splett. He is survived by: his wife Karen Kurschner; his children, Vincent Splett (Katherine), Suzette Randall (Joseph), Nanette Tarascio (Bob Phillips), Delano "Del" Splett (JoD), Nona Lee Splett (Steve Benike) and Darrell Splett (Susan); his grandchildren, Erik Splett (Stephanie), Mark Splett (Jackson), Scott Splett (Lori), Corissa Seely (Trevor), Chelsea Ideker (Tyler), Trevor Randall-Nguyen (Kelvin), Louie Benike, Kiah Benike, Michael Tarascio and Anthony Tarascio (Emily); his children, Harley Splett and Karlie Splett; and his great grandchildren, Violet, Johanna, Athena, Lily, Lena, Payson and Michael.
Memorials are preferred to Voyageurs Lutheran Ministry (Camp Vermilion) or Our Savior's Lutheran Church.
